"isn't there, like, nothing wrong with the OC?"

i was privileged this week to sub for an art class in which i got to take part in a conversation between 4 girls about their favorite show: the OC. here is a quote from one girl...verbatim (as is the title of the post):

"i used to love adam brody...i was like: 'i'm gonna marry seth cohen.'
Then i grew up, and i was like, 'benjamin mckenzie is so much better.' "

hehe! glad to see there are some ryan atwood fans out there. seth gets a ridiculous amount of devotion.

i adore storm clouds, raspberries, pressed flowers, drinking craft brews with the husbandman, quiet time, sour candy, taking pictures, gardenias, looking at the ocean (and not being in it), books, coffee shops, florence, gardening, dogs, drawing faces, the Inklings, my little nephew-cousins, singing, and rain.

i journal privately most often, but people consistently tell me they like when i post on my blog, so i (try to) write about things that stir my heart and mind, make life happy and hard, that can encourage people, inspire them to think or pray, or sometimes just smile.

i like it best when people smile.
